SAISON OPÉRA D'ÉTÉ 2021

In 2004, the Paris Opera launched its programme “Summer Opera”, organized in different French towns and departments.
This year again, making the lyrical and chorographical heritage accessible to all, and in accordance with its mission of public service, the Paris Opera is offering free access between June and September in outdoor settings or a suitable historic places for one or several opera and ballet production(s) that were previously filmed in the Paris Opera venues (the Garnier or Bastille Theatre). As part of this project, the Paris Opera is lending for free the copyright-free digital support media of the chosen performances, on a HD video and audio support. In return, the partner is committed to providing a free, open-air broadcast, on large screen, between June and September, and will cover the rental of the screening and audio equipment, as well as the planning fees.
