Rehearsals to the general public

After three initial sessions in October and December 2023, the Paris Opera continues to open its doors to the general public by unveiling the rehearsals for two shows to be staged in March and June 2024.

Come and discover these work sessions and this privileged moment of sharing where Ballet dancers prepare their roles before going on stage.

Rehearsals punctuate the daily work of the dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet. They take place every day, after dance classes, in the studios of the Palais Garnier and Opéra Bastille with coaches, ballet masters and choreographers.

Places are limited.

  • Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 3 p.m. | Swan Lake

    Public rehearsal led by Élisabeth Platel, followed by a discussion around Rudolf Nureyev's Swan Lake.
    With Paris Opera Ballet dancers Hannah O'Neill (Danseuse Étoile) and Germain Louvet (Danseur Étoile).

  • Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 3 p.m. | Don Quixote

    Public rehearsal led by Jean-Guillaume Bart, followed by a discussion around Rudolf Nureyev's Don Quixote.
    With Paris Opera Ballet dancers Roxane Stojanov (Première danseuse) and Thomas Docquir (Sujet).
