On June 4, 2016 at 10:30am, the Paris Opera is offering children, adolescents and their parents a practical artistic workshop devoted to the choreographer William Forsythe. Focused on a responsive approach to dance, the workshop aims to familiarise the participants with the creative world of the artist.

The Petits Violons are an ensemble like no other: this innovative organisation enables 24 students to study the violin, viola or cello over a three-year period. This year, to mark the 25th anniversary of the Paris Opera’s Ten Months of School and Opera programme, the Petits Violons will be appearing in concert at the Amphithéâtre Bastille. The concert programme includes contemporary scores and arrangements of famous pages from the instrumental and vocal repertoires.

The next encounter with a Paris Opera artist organised for Ten Months of School and Opera programme students will take place on May 27, 2016 in the presence of Takeru Coste, a Quadrille in the Paris Opera's Corps de Ballet.
Sonya Yoncheva will be replaced by Irina Lungu in the role of Violetta on May 29, 2016.
La Traviata by Verdi, from May 20 to June 29, 2016 at the Opéra Bastille
From May 25 through May 28, 2016, the soloists of the Paris Opera Academy’s Atelier Lyrique will be visiting the Église Saint-Jacques for a series of four concerts. Under the direction of Fayçal Karoui, they will perform Haydn’s The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross with the Orchestra and Chorus of the Pau Pays de Béarn and with Marie-Christine Barrault in solo. This magnificent oratorio is considered to be one of the composer’s most profound works.
On May 28 and May 31, 2016, Étoile dancer Laëtitia Pujol will be replaced by Étoile dancer Myriam Ould-Braham in the role of Giselle.
