  Cast change: don quichotte

  Ildar Abdrazakov will not be playing the title role in this season's new production of "Don Quichotte".
  The role of Don Quichotte will be played by Christian Van Horn for performances on May 10, 14, 17, 21, 23, 26 and 29, 2024.

  LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN: CAST CHANGE

  Alejandro Balinas Vieites will be unable to perform "Les Contes d'Hoffmann" on December 18, 2023.
  The role of Schlemil will be played by Jean-Luc Ballestra.

  As a result of a strike followed by some of the Paris Opera's staff which has not allowed all the necessary rehearsals to take place, the performance of The Nutcracker scheduled on Sunday 10^th December 2023 at 2:30 pm at the Opéra Bastille is unfortunately cancelled.

  Marianne Crebassa has withdrawn from the production.
  Emily D'Angelo will take over the role of Sesto.

  MESSAGE TO SPECTATORS OF LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN ON THURSDAY NOVEMBER 30 AT THE OPÉRA BASTILLE

  As a result of a strike followed by some of the Opera's staff, the performance of the opera Les Contes d'Hoffmann on Thursday 30^th November at 7:30 pm will be given in a concert version. The work will be performed by the soloists and chorus with costumes, as well as the orchestra, without staging and sets.
