Two tickets for a performance, champagne and snacks for two, and the performance programme to discover the work: everything is in place to give an exceptional moment at the Opéra Bastille.

Receive and give
Three delivery options:
- by post: the tickets are slipped into a Paris Opera gift envelope, with a personalised card on which to write your message. Everything is sent to the address of your choice. Postage: €4 by standard post, €8 by registered post. To receive your gift experience in time for the festive season, allow at least a week between purchase and delivery. If in doubt, choose e-tickets.
- handed over in person (box office purchases): the gift experience is given to you straight away, in the same gift envelope with its personalised card.
- e-tickets: the items in the gift experience are available in your personal account, under “My tickets”. Download the digital personalised card further up this page, print it on A4 paper, fold it and add your message. No postage, available straight away.
On the day of the performance
- the recipients show their tickets at the entrance. We advise them to arrive 45 minutes before curtain up;
- the programme is to be collected from the Opéra Bastille shop on presentation of the voucher, from 1 hour 30 minutes before the performance or during the interval;
- the champagne and snacks voucher is to be presented at one of the Opéra Bastille bars, from 45 minutes before the performance or during the interval.
The tickets can be exchanged once, for another performance of the same production, up to the date of the performance originally chosen. Once that date has passed, no exchange is possible. Exchanges are made by phone on +33 1 73 60 25 25. The Opéra national de Paris cannot guarantee seat availability for an exchange to the performance requested.
The champagne and snacks voucher and the programme voucher may only be used on the day of the performance, at the Opéra Bastille bars and shop. No refund will be made if the vouchers are not used on the day of the visit, for whatever reason.
The contents of the gift experience cannot be changed. The seats in the gift experience are sold at the full price of the category chosen. No discount can be applied. The gift experience is non-refundable.
If any items in the gift experience are lost or stolen, no duplicate will be issued and no refund or credit note will be given.

What does a gift experience include?
Two tickets for an opera or ballet in the 2026–2027 season at the Opéra Bastille, from a choice of five performances, champagne and snacks for two, and the performance programme. All in a gift envelope with a personalised card, or with a digital personalised card to print at home. Excessive drinking is harmful to your health. Please drink responsibly.
How much does a gift experience cost?
From €211 for two people for an opera, and from €137 for a ballet. The price depends on the performance and the seat category (from category 6 to Optima).
Who chooses the date of the performance?
The buyer, at the time of purchase. If you do not know when the person you are giving it to is free, you can choose a date and the recipient can change it once, up to two working days before the date of the performance originally booked, subject to availability. If in doubt, you can also choose a gift voucher, which offers more flexibility.
How is the gift experience delivered?
By post (postage: €4 by standard post, €8 by registered post): the gift experience is sent in its gift envelope, with a personalised card.
In person, for box office purchases: the gift experience is given to you straight away, in the same gift envelope.
As e-tickets: the tickets are in your personal account, and the digital personalised card can be downloaded further up this page.
When should I order for Christmas?
For delivery by post, allow at least a week between purchase and delivery. If in doubt, choose e-tickets, available as soon as you buy.
When can the champagne and snacks voucher and the programme voucher be used?
The champagne and snacks voucher and the programme voucher may only be used on the day of the performance: the first at one of the Opéra Bastille bars, the second from the programme sellers in the foyer or at the Opéra Bastille shop. No refund will be made if the vouchers are not used on the day of the visit, for whatever reason.
Can the date be changed?
Yes, once, for another performance of the same production, up to two working days before the date of the performance originally booked, subject to availability. Exchanges are made by phone on +33 1 73 60 25 25. The gift experience is non-refundable.
Is there a gift experience for one or three people?
The gift experience is designed for two people. For a third person, you can buy an additional ticket separately, outside the gift experience. You can also buy several gift experiences. For more flexibility, the Paris Opera also offers gift vouchers.
Can I buy a gift experience at the box office or by phone?
Yes. At the Opéra Bastille and Palais Garnier box offices, it is handed to you in person. By phone, on 08 92 89 90 90 from France (+33 1 71 25 24 23 from outside France), it will be sent to you by post or as e-tickets.
Can I buy several gift experiences?
Yes, up to 9 per order. For larger quantities, please contact the groups department by email at groupes@operadeparis.fr or by phone on +33 1 40 01 80 54, Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.
What is the difference between a gift experience and a gift voucher?
The gift experience offers a specific performance, with champagne and programme included. The gift voucher can be used freely by the recipient for two years, to buy performances, tours and programmes (online, at the box office or by phone). Excessive drinking is harmful to your health. Please drink responsibly.
