Synopsis

Famous for his operas, Rossini was also the author of numerous salon pieces that he grouped together under the title of ‘Old Age Sins’.
Composed to entertain guests at his famous “Saturday evenings”, these intimate works for voice and piano are set against excerpts from La Cenerentola, Il Viaggio a Reims and Le Comte Ory.
