Ana Oniani Soprano

Biography

Artist in residence at the Academy since September 2025

Originally from Georgia, Ana Oniani began her musical training at the Tbilisi Music School before continuing her studies in opera singing at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire and the Solti Accademia di Bel Canto.

Ana Oniani joined the Academy of the Paris National Opera in September 2025. She performs the role of Sandrina in the new production of La Finta giardiniera directed by Julie Delille at MC93 – Maison de la Culture de Seine-Saint-Denis, and makes her debut on the stage of the Palais Garnier with the Orchestra of the Paris National Opera in the concert La Nuit et l’Amour, conducted by Stephanie Childress.

As a member of the Opera Studio of the Tbilisi State Conservatoire, she performed the roles of the Countess (The Marriage of Figaro), Mimì (La Bohème), and Pamina (The Magic Flute). With the Solti Accademia di Bel Canto, she sang Clotilde (Norma) at the Théâtre du Capitole and performed in concert alongside Plácido Domingo. She subsequently made her debuts in La Traviata and The Marriage of Figaro.

Ana Oniani is the recipient of First Prize and the Grand Prix at the 8th Georgian Performers’ Competition (2023).
