Ana Oniani Soprano

Biography

Ana Oniani began her musical training at the Central School of Music in Tbilisi, Georgia. She then continued her studies at the Tbilisi State Conservatory, where she perfected her skills as an opera singer. Winner of the first prize and grand prize at the VIIIth Georgian Musician-Performer Competition in 2023, she is now making her mark on the national opera scene.

At the Tbilisi Conservatory Opera Studio, she has performed the roles of the Countess (The Marriage of Figaro), Mimì (La Bohème) and Pamina (The Magic Flute). She also takes part in the Batumian Rhapsody / Operas Golden Voice festival, where she works with artists such as Vesselina Kasarova, Roberto Scandiuzzi and Constantine Orbelian.

In November 2023, she sings Caldara and Zelenka's Missa Providentiae under the direction of Cornelia von Kerssenbrock. In 2024, she was selected to join the Georg Solti Accademia di Bel Canto in Italy. She sang the role of Clotilde (Norma) at the Opéra du Capitole (Toulouse) and appeared in concerts alongside Plácido Domingo. She then made her debut in La Traviata and The Marriage of Figaro.

Ana Oniani joins the Académie de l'Opéra national de Paris in September 2025 as singer-in-residence.
