Synopsis
The program for this concert includes Bartók's Hungarian Folk Melodies, Dvořák's Gypsy Melodies and Serenade for Strings, and a set of Ukrainian melodies by Skoryk and Kosenko. A program of folk melodies, real raw material that composers absorb in a more elaborate compositional process while keeping intact the freshness and strength of the original expression.
