Carlos Sanchis Aguirre began his musical studies in Zaragoza where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in piano in 2015. He entered the HEMU (High School of Music) in Geneva where he obtained his master’s degree in 2018. He decided to complete his training attending several European Academies such as the Académie musicale de Villecroze in France with Louis Lortie, or the Accademia Georg Solti in Venice. Between 2018 and 2019, he studied as an accompanist at the Royal Northern College of Music of Manchester. He specialized in vocal accompaniment at the Plácido Domingo Opera studio of Valencia. Between 2016 and 2019, he was an active member of Youth Orchestras like the Netherlands Youth Orchestra, the Joven Orquesta nacional de España and the Gustav Mahler Jugenorchester in which he worked with conductors like Christoph Eschenbach, David Afhkam and the violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann. Carlos Sanchis Aguirre joined the Paris Opera Academy in September 2021.
