Trained at the Paris National Opera Academy
Of Georgian origin and born in Ukraine, Teona Todua studied at the P. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Kyiv, where she earned a master’s degree in 2023. Trained at the Paris National Opera Academy, she also participated in the Opera Academy of the National Opera Theatre of Poland (2021–2022), an exchange with the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program at the Metropolitan Opera in New York (2023), and the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival (2023).
She received third prize at the Neue Stimmen Competition in 2024. During the 2024–2025 season, she performed the role of Micaëla (Carmen) on tour in China. In the 2025–2026 season, she will sing Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) in Frankfurt and present, among other engagements, a recital dedicated to Pauline Viardot at the Baden-Baden Festival.
