Sulivan Loiseau holds a degree in music and musicology from the University of Paris Sorbonne. She began her double bass studies at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Saint-Maur in 2012 before entering Thierry Barbé’s class at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris in 2016. She obtained her National Superior Professional Diploma of Musician in 2018 and her Master’s degree in classical and contemporary double bass in 2020.
She completes her training by taking part in the Academy of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra and an Erasmus with the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich where she learns German bowing in the class of Alexandra Scott.
She performs as a tutor in numerous orchestras such as the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Appassionato Ensemble and the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris. Giving an important place to transmission, she leads an educational project around baroque music in Martinique with the Ensemble Mimesis.
Sulivan Loiseau joined the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris in September 2022.
