Seray Pinar graduated from the Department of Vocal Arts at Hacettepe University in Ankara in 2019. In 2020, she pursued further training in Italy before returning to Turkey to study with contralto Ferda Yetişer. She was a finalist in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition in 2023 and won third prize at the Neue Stimmen Competition in 2024.
She joined the Paris National Opera Academy in 2022 for two seasons and participated in the exchange program between the Academy and the Lindemann Young Artist Program at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 2023.
With the Academy, she performed the roles of Lucilla in La Scala di seta at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet and Emma Jones in Street Scenes at the MC93 Bobigny. In 2023, she sang Marquise Melibea (Le Voyage à Reims) at the Rossini Opera Festival Academy. In 2025, she will appear at the Salzburg Festival as Bersi (Andrea Chénier). She has been a member of the Lyric Ensemble of the Paris National Opera since the 2024–2025 season.
