Seray Pinar graduated from the opera department of Hacettepe University in Ankara in 2019. In 2020, she honed her skills in Italy before returning to Turkey to continue her training with contralto Ferda Yetişer. She was a finalist in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition in 2023 and won third place in the Neue Stimmen Competition in 2024. She joined the Paris National Opera Academy in 2022 for two seasons and participated in the exchange between the Academy and the Lindemann Young Artist Programme of the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 2023. With the Academy, she performed the roles of Lucilla in La Scala di seta at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet and Emma Jones in Street Scenes at the MC93 Bobigny. In 2023, she played the Marquise Melibea (Le Voyage à Reims) at the Rossini Opera Festival Academy. In 2025, she will perform at the Salzburg Festival in the role of Bersi (Andrea Chénier). She has been a member of the Paris National Opera's lyric troupe since the 2024-2025 season.
