Biography
Trained at the Paris Opera Academy
Member of the Lyric Ensemble of the Paris Opera
Seray Pinar graduated from the Department of Vocal Arts at Hacettepe University in Ankara in 2019. In 2020, she pursued further studies in Italy before returning to Turkey to continue her training with contralto Ferda Yetişer. She was a finalist in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition in 2023 and won third place at the Neue Stimmen Competition in 2024.
She joined the Paris Opera Academy in 2022 for two seasons and participated in the exchange program between the Academy and the Lindemann Young Artist Program at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 2023. With the Academy, she performed the roles of Lucilla in La Scala di seta at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet and Emma Jones in Street Scene at MC93 Bobigny. In 2023, she performed as the Marquise Melibea (Le Voyage à Reims) at the Rossini Opera Festival Academy. In 2025, she will appear at the Salzburg Festival in the role of Bersi (Andrea Chénier).
She has been a member of the Lyric Ensemble of the Paris Opera since the 2024–2025 season.
