Biography
Trained at the Opéra national de Paris Academy
Member of the Opéra national de Paris Lyric Troupe
Seray Pinar graduated from the vocal department of Hacettepe University in 2019. In 2020, she continued her training in Italy before returning to Turkey to study with the contralto Ferda Yetişer.
She was a finalist at the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in 2023 and won third prize at the Neue Stimmen in 2024. She joined the Opéra national de Paris Academy in 2022 for two seasons and took part in the exchange program with the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the Metropolitan Opera in 2023.
With the Academy, she performed the roles of Lucilla in La scala di seta at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet and Emma Jones in Street Scene at MC93 Bobigny. In 2023, she sang the Marquise Melibea (Il viaggio a Reims) at the Rossini Opera Festival Academy. In 2025, she appeared at the Salzburg Festival as Bersi (Andrea Chénier).
She has been a member of the Opéra national de Paris Lyric Troupe since the 2024–2025 season.
