Paris Opera Ballet School Production

Palais Garnier

from 03 to 06 April 2027

2h30 with 2 intervals

Synopsis

Key event at the Ballet School, directed by Élisabeth Platel, the Annual Production is an eagerly awaited moment, allowing students to enjoy their first experiences on stage and the audience to discover the wealth of choreographic vocabulary taught there.

This season, the programme opens with Ivan Clustine’s Suite de danses, a tribute to the French school tinged with Russian influences set to music by Chopin.

The young dancers continue with the more contemporary movements of Martin Chaix’s tale Ma Mère l’Oye. Finally, in John Taras’s fantastical ballet Piège de lumière, they take flight, transformed into butterflies in a tropical forest.
