Justin Nardella Vidéaste

Biographie

Justin Nardella a étudié le design au National Institute of Dramatic Arts de Sydney, en Australie. Sa carrière, qui s’étend sur plus d’une décennie, a vu naître plus de cinquante projets. 

Il a notamment signé la scénographie du Fashion Freak Show de Jean-Paul Gautier (Round House), de Mimma – A New Musical (Cadogan Hall), Proud (Kings Head), Arcardia (Festival international de Manchester), Showmanism! (Théâtre royal de Bath), Songs for Nobodies (West End), La Traviata (Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, co-scénographe), The Life (Southwark Playhouse), Youth Without God et Depths of Dead Love (Coronet Theatre), Eugène Onéguine (Festival international de Buxton), Acis and Galatea (English National Opera Studio), Le Grand Mort (Trafalgar Studios), The Hunting of the Snark (RGM Productions), Legends! (tournée australienne), Mr Incredible et Where Do Little Birds Go? (Lonsight Theatre), Hänsel et Gretel (Opera in Space), Tender Napalm (Festival de Brisbane), Orfeo (Orchestre de Brandebourg). 

En tant que scénographe associé, il a travaillé sur Priscilla Queen of the Desert, War Requiem et Tristan et Isolde (English National Opera), Le Roi Lear (The Old Vic) et Le Testament de Marie (Comédie-Française et Théâtre de l’Odéon). 

Il a collaboré avec Jim Sharman pour son film Andy X, Brendon McDonall pour son film Spoilers, Tom Noakes pour le clip Could Be Bad du groupe The Scare, et pour les projections de Gianni Schicchi et La Bohème au Festival iSing Asia. 

Il a reçu le prix BMW Young Artists et la bourse William Fletcher Grant.
