The winners of the Arop Prizes for the 24/25 season are Nine Seropian and Lorenzo Lelli for the Dance category, and Amandine Portelli ans Luis-Felipe Sousa for the lyrical category.

During the 2024/2025 season, Nine Seropian, Sujet, notably distinguished herself in Vers la mort by Sharon Eyal, in Impasse by Johan Inger, as well as in Sylvia by Manuel Legris, where she performed the roles of Diana and the Huntress soloist. Lorenzo Lelli, Sujet, likewise stood out in Mayerling by Kenneth MacMillan, in Sylvia, where he performed the role of Eros, and in The Sleeping Beauty by Rudolf Nureyev, where he took on the role of Prince Désiré.

The Lyric Prizes were awarded to mezzo-soprano Amandine Portelli and bass-baritone Luis-Felipe Sousa, both in residence at the Academy of the Paris Opera during the 2024/2025 season. Amandine Portelli performed the role of Costanza in L’Isola disabitata by Joseph Haydn, under the baton of François Lopez-Ferrer. She appeared in all of the Academy artists’ concerts throughout the 2024/2025 season, notably in Bizet and His Contemporaries, presented in Venice and Paris. At the Paris Opera, Luis-Felipe Sousa performed the role of the Tutor in Les Brigands by Jacques Offenbach, conducted by Stefano Montanari and Michele Spotti, as well as the role of Guccio in Gianni Schicchi by Giacomo Puccini. With the Academy, he also performed the role of Enrico in L’Isola disabitata.

Since 1986, members of the AROP have awarded the Dance Prizes each season to a promising young female and male dancer from the Paris Opera Ballet. Since 2019 (for a period of ten years), these prizes have been endowed through the generosity of Mrs. Jeannine Auber, who, through her legacy to AROP, wished to support the new generations of Opera dancers and, in doing so, pass on her passion for dance.

Since 1998, the Lyric Prizes have recognized a female and a male singer from the Academy of the Paris Opera, selected among the soloists who have stood out in the previous season’s productions.

The AROP (Association pour le Rayonnement de l’Opéra national de Paris) supports the implementation of the Opera’s projects in creation, transmission, and training, and notably has the mission of supporting the institution’s young artists.
