In collaboration with stage director Simon Stone and conductor Michele Mariotti, Benjamin Bernheim fine-tunes an Alfredo Germont full of vocal and dramatic nuances, drawing inspiration from the character in Dumas' play. The young French tenor discusses the colours and personality of the role, comparing them with that of the Duke of Mantua, another great Verdian figure he will be adding to his repertoire next month in Munich.
