Biography

Pianist and vocal coach, Robin le Bervet began music at the age of 6 in Pontivy (Brittany). He then trained at the Conservatoire de Rennes and at the Pôle supérieur de Lille in piano and accompaniment. He has since specialized in voice direction at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.

Passionate about the voice and the accompaniment of singers, he works regularly at the Rennes Opera, the Lille Opera (children’s opera project « Finoreille ») as well as at the Château de Linières for the production of open air operas. He also performs with many ensembles: Melisme(s) Chamber Choir, In Paradisum Choir, Bagad de Vannes, Lyrisme de Rue Company...

He has participated in several productions as a conductor: Benjamin Britten’s Little Chimney Sweep (Rennes Opera), Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s Aida and Il Trovatore, Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana (Linières), Lavendier/Mozart’s Noces Variations (Lille Opera).

Robin le Bervet also holds a teaching diploma and has taught piano at the CRR of Rennes, the CRD of Saint-Omer and the CRR of Lille. He regularly accompanies the singers’ courses for the Pont-Supérieur Bretagne Pays de la Loire. Last summer he organized and accompanied two master class sessions with the director Alain Garichot at the Eden Palace in Morbihan.

He joins the Académie de l'Opéra national de Paris in September 2023.
