My First Time at the Opera

For your family’s first ever performance, enjoy a very special price: €25 for adults and €10 for children.

Let the Opera's teams help you explore the work and our theatres, offering you a special welcome and a pre-performance encounter.

In 24/25, you can discover the opera Il Barbiere di Siviglia on 22 June 2025 at 2:30 pm. During the 25/26 season, you can attend the ballets Notre-Dame de Paris and Romeo and Juliet, and the operas Un ballo in maschera and La Cenerentola.

25/26 booking calendar:

  • For the ballet Notre-Dame de Paris, bookings open on 16 September 2025 at noon
  • For the opera Un ballo in maschera, bookings open on 7 October 2025 at noon
  • For the ballet Romeo and Juliet, bookings open on 9 December 2025 at noon
  • For the opera La Cenerentola, bookings open on 10 February 2026 at noon

This offer is intended for families:

  • whose members have never attended a performance at the Paris Opera (in the great halls of the Opera Bastille or Palais Garnier);
  • up to a limit of 6 seats per family,
  • the family must consist of at least 1 adult and 1 child (between 8 and 18 years old at the date of the performance).

According to the calendar, register your request via the online registration form. Your request will then be studied by our teams, and validated according to the above criteria.
