European Heritage Days 2023

Guided tours of the Paris Opera’s costumes storage

Built by Charles Garnier with the help of Gustave Eiffel to host the Paris Opera's scenery workshops, the Berthier Workshops have been listed as a Historic Monument since 1990.

In addition to the manufacture and renovation of sets, the Berthier Workshops now house a storage area for more than 6000 set and costume elements!
