Message from Alexander Neef to spectators of the Paris Opera

The lack of a clear date for the complete or partial reopening of our theatres has once again obliged us to adapt our programme for the months of May, June and July.
Thus, the "midi musical" scheduled for 16 May at the Palais Garnier and the musical encounter on 3 June at the Studio Bastille have been cancelled. At the Opéra Bastille, the first series of Tosca, scheduled for 6 to 28 May, has been cancelled, as has the revival of La Dame de pique from 20 May to 12 June.
However, I am pleased to announce that a concert conducted by Oksana Lyniv, featuring solo singers originally cast in La Dame de pique, should be held in early June, health conditions permitting. Further information will soon be available on our website operadeparis.fr and our mobile application.

The rest of the season's programme has been conserved for the time being. At the Opéra Bastille you will be able to enjoy the opera Tosca from 4 to 25 June, the ballet Romeo and Juliet from 10 June to 10 July, and the special concert conducted by Philippe Jordan on 2 July. At the Palais Garnier, Le Soulier de satin will be presented from 21 May to 13 June, and will also be filmed, along with the evening Hommage à Roland Petit from 30 May to 7 July, La Clemenza di Tito from 30 June to 13 July, and the Jeunes Danseurs de l'Opéra programme, which will close the season from 9 to 14 July.

In the near future will be providing you with information on how and when to book these performances.
The Paris Opera's artists and teams remain as motivated as ever and sincerely hope to be able to welcome you back soon.

Thank you for your confidence.
