Biography

Born in Paris in 2000, Sue-Anne Lee started the violin at the age of 5 with Anna Barbara and then Patrick Chemla at the Conservatoire Frédéric Chopin (Paris 15th). In 2009, she entered the class of Caroline Cervera at the Paris CRR and specialized alongside Stéphanie Moraly. In 2016, she entered the Conservatoire national Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in the class of Alexis Galpérine. 

 As a chamber music enthusiast, particularly fond of piano trios, she studied this repertoire with François Salque, Jean Sulem, Hae-Sun Kang, Itamar Golan. She has taken part in the masterclasses of Patrice Fontanarosa, Ivry Gitlis, Lewis Kaplan, Robert Chen, Dong-Suk Kang and the Ebene Quartet. Winner of the Luigi Zanuccoli Competition, she is among the young talents of the Jaroussky Academy. She is a recipient of the Tarazzi fund and of support from the Meyer Foundation. 

Sue-Anne Lee joined the Paris Opera Academy in September 2020.
