Born in Darmós (Tarragona), Sarah Blanch studied at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, where she is currently studying with soprano Mariella Devia. She has won prizes in various competitions, including the Montserrat Caballé, Mirabent i Magrans and Viñas 2016.
In 2013 she made her debut at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro in the role of Folleville (Le Voyage à Reims). In the same year she sang the Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute) in Sabadell. She also made her debut at the Wildbad Rossini Festival in 2015 as Elvira (L'Italienne à Alger) and returned there in 2016 with Le Comte Ory and in 2018 with Matilde di Shabran. Recent engagements include Les Pêcheurs de perles in Cologne, Lucia de Lammermoor in Oviedo and Palermo, Don Pasquale in Seville, La Clémence de Titus at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Don Giovanni in Perm, Adina and La Scala di seta at the Rossini Festival in Wildbad, Un bal masqué in Madrid and Barcelona, La Fille du régiment at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo, Falstaff in Valencia, L'Élixir d'amour in Mallorca, Ariane à Naxos in Barcelona and Florence, La Bohème in Rome, Le Turc en Italie in Madrid and Lyon, Die Zauberflöte and Ariane à Naxos at the Vienna State Opera, Médée at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Le Comte Ory in Paris and Bologna, Lo sposo di tre e marito di nessuna, Orphée et Eurydice, The Rake's Progress and Don Pasquale in Florence, as well as numerous concerts and recitals in France, Italy and Spain.
In the 2024-2025 season she will appear in Le Turc en Italie at the Opéra national de Lyon, Le Comte Ory at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Ariane à Naxos at the Vienna Staatsoper, Mitridate, re di Ponto at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Hamlet at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Mahler's Symphony No. 4 conducted by Daniele Gatti with the Staatskapelle Dresden and Handel's Resurrection at the Caracalla Festival in Rome.
