Rocío Ruiz Cobarro first studied violin and chorus direction before dedicating herself to lyrical singing. She ended her training with Spanish soprano Ana María Sanchez and chorus master Maciej Pikulski at the Pays Basque Musikene Conservatoire.
During her training, she took master classes with Susanne Elmark, Pilar Jurado and Aquiles Machado. She performed soloist pieces with Murcia (Spain), the symphonic orchestra of her region, and in different ensembles dedicated to early and contemporary music.
At the end of her studies, in 2018, she had the opportunity to perform at the Teatro Real in Madrid as a chorus artist in Massenet's Thaïs and Puccini's Turandot. She also appeared in the production of Madama Butterfly in January 2019 at the Royal Opera House in Muscat.
She joined the chorus of the Paris Opera in February 2019.
