Marie Lambert-Le Bihan is an opera director and lighting designer. Recently, she directed The Queen of Spades in Liège as well as the world premiere of Voyage d’automne in Toulouse. She co-wrote and co-directed Transfiguré, 12 vies de Schönberg with Bertrand Bonello at the Philharmonie de Paris. With Les Arts Florissants, she staged Médée at the Teatro Real in Madrid and Les Arts Florissants + La Descente d’Orphée aux Enfers for the Jardin des Voix, a production currently on tour.
She directed and designed the lighting for La Fille du régiment in Liège and Le Villi in Toulouse, as well as the lighting for La Casa de Bernarda Alba in Tenerife and The Marriage of Figaro at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris. She directed Zazà at Opera Holland Park and La Voix humaine at the Buxton Festival, and collaborated as associate director on Madama Butterfly at La Monnaie in Brussels. Her upcoming projects include the world premiere of Mein Name ist der Fluch by Bushra El-Turk for the Lucerne Festival, the lighting design for Berlin mon garçon at the Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier, as well as new productions in Paris and Madrid.
