Biography

Marie Goudot studied dance at the Rudra Béjart School and started her professional career in 1998. After several years in different companies, she joined Michaël Pomero and Julien Monty in 2005 to found the Loge 22 collective, a space for choreographic research that has created a dozen dance productions, including Rubaïs, Compresse et Réduction, Angle Mort, Unisson, SurFace, Konkreiheit, Rumeurs. Loge 22 is also a cofounder, with other European artists, of the SPIDER and SPIDER EXPAND Festival and platform.

Marie Goudot has worked with Russell Maliphant, Pierre Droulers, Saša Božić, Chrysa Parkinson, François Laroche-Valière, Mark Lorimer, Ula Sickle and Ictus Ensemble. Since 2010, she has been working with Rosas, taking part to the creations of Cesena (2011), Vortex Temporum (2013), Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), Così fan tutte (2017), Mitten wir im Leben sind/Bach6Cellosuiten (2017), The Six Brandenburg Concertos (2018), the revival of the play En Atendant (2022), the Dark Red series or 5Agon (2023). Marie Goudot is also part of the faculty of P.A.R.T.S. since 2016.

She is teaching and leading workshops at the Paris Music and Dance Conservatoire, the Summerschool and Impulstanz. In 2022, she co founded YOUNGSTERS, a platform based in Brussels gathering international artists committed to making art accessible to young people in Brussels. She is currently working on three creations: Partager le Vide, After Hannibal and Gasherbrum.
