Louise Grindel Violin

Biography

She began to study the violin at the age of five in the conservatoire of the 12th Arrondissement in Paris and in 2010 obtained her Diploma there in the class of Christophe Guiot. A lover of mathematics she entered the Lycée Fénelon Sainte‑Marie that same year to study advanced maths but decided to forego scientific training to focus on the violin. In 2012, she won the award for excellence in the class of José Alvarez at the Conservatoire de Musique et Dance in Aulnay-sous-Bois and since then she has been studying with Maxime Tholance. In September 2014, she enrolled in the orchestra training course at the CRR regional Conservatory in Paris and took preparatory courses for the orchestra competition with Luc Héry. As of September 2015 she will be in residence at the Paris Opera’s academy.
