Winner of the International Classical Music Award in the ‘Winner Premiere Recording’ category for Déjanire at the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf, Jérôme Boutillier has notably performed the roles of Méphistophélès (Faust) at the Opéra Comique and in Lille, Albert (Werther) in Genoa, Fieramosca (Benvenuto Cellini) in Dresden, Athanaël (Thaïs) and the title role in Hamlet in Saint-Étienne, Escamillo (Carmen) in Munich, at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and at the Baalbeck Festival, Nélusko (L'Africaine) in Marseille, Germont (La Traviata) at the Seine Musicale and in Marseille, and Marcello (La Bohème) in Toulouse. He has also performed in concert at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, with the Gewandhaus Orchester in Leipzig and at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago.
During the 2025-2026 season, he will play Zurga (Les Pêcheurs de perles) in Massy, Jupiter (Orphée aux Enfers) in Tours, Jochanaan (Salomé) at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro) at the Savonlinna Festival, and Cadmus (Cadmus et Hermione) with Les Talens Lyriques at the Philharmonie de Paris. His discography includes eight CDs, produced by Palazzetto Bru Zane and Aparté.
