The Paris Opera reserves the right to adapt the conditions of participation and the conduct of the audition.
Tenor 1 & 2 - supernumerary positions
Audition on Wednesday 17 December 2025
Application deadline: 10 December 2025
Applicants must be able to present:
1 - Two opera arias
- One opera aria in French
- One opera aria in a language of the candidate's choice
NB: Candidates are required to sing the opera arias without score.
2 - Rossini's Grande vocalise
Forte and piano, to be transposed on the ascending and descending chromatic scale
3 - A sight reading
NB: this sight-reading test, which is compulsory, is not eliminatory

TAKING OFFICE
Recruitment based on the availability of the successful candidate and the theater's schedule at the end of current contracts.
