Claude Bardouil Choreographer

Biography
Since 2010, Claude Bardouil has played an active role in the creation of all Krzysztof Warlikowski’s productions as choreographer and movement coach, both in theatre and opera. A former gymnast and dancer, he trained at the Conservatoire, the Atelier de formation et de recherche of the Centre Dramatique National, and the Centre de Développement Chorégraphique in Toulouse. He has worked with several French choreographers, including Rita Cioffi of the Compagnie Aurélia, with whom he created and performed a number of duets (notably Massacre du printemps, Shopping, Pas de deux, and Passengers).
As an actor, he has appeared in several of Krzysztof Warlikowski’s productions. As a dancer and choreographer, he has created Nancy Interview, Exhausted, and more recently Private Collection at Nowy Teatr with actress Magdalena Popławska. During the 2026–2027 season, he will choreograph Fidelio in Baden-Baden.
