Russian-Austrian baritone Boris Pinkhasovich received his musical training in conducting and singing at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. Since then, he has performed regularly on the world’s major opera stages, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House in London, the Vienna State Opera, the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the Paris National Opera, the Zurich Opera, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Salzburg Festival, the Easter Festival in Baden-Baden, and the Berlin Philharmonie.
In September 2023, he received the Austrian Musical Theatre Award for his portrayal of Prince Yeletsky (The Queen of Spades) at the Vienna State Opera. In the 2025–2026 season, he will perform Giorgio Germont (La Traviata) and Enrico Ashton (Lucia di Lammermoor) at La Scala in Milan, the Count di Luna (Il Trovatore) at the Hamburg State Opera, Renato (Un ballo in maschera) at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the title role of Eugene Onegin and Robert (Iolanta) at the Vienna State Opera, as well as Valentin (Faust) at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.
