Vannina Santoni Soprano

Biographie

Vannina Santoni is a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. She garnered particular attention in 2018 for her performance in the title role of La Traviata at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. In recent seasons, she has portrayed among others Juliette (Roméo et Juliette) at La Scala in Milan, the title role of Manon with the Orchestre National de Lyon conducted by of Daniele Rustioni, Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande) under the baton of François-Xavier Roth in a production by Éric Ruf at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) in Laurent Pelly’s production with Le Concert d'Astrée conducted by Emmanuelle Haïm at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.

Vannina Santoni made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona as Liù (Turandot). She has also sung Mimì (La Bohème) at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse, Fiordiligi at the Opernhaus Zürich, and Mélisande in Lille under the direction of François-Xavier Roth. She made her debut in the title role of Iphigénie en Tauride in Montpellier.

In concert, she has performed Verdi’s Messa di Requiem at the Rocamadour Festival and Poulenc’s Stabat Mater at the Rheingau Music Festival under the baton of Alain Altinoglu. She also sang Strauss’ Four Last Songs for the first time with the Mahlerian Camerata conducted by Benjamin Garzia at the Opéra de Vichy.

During the 2024-2025 season, she will perform, among others, the title role of La Traviata in Riga, Blanche de La Force (Dialogues des Carmélites) at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and the Théâtre de Compiègne, Micaëla (Carmen) at the Opéra Royal de Versailles, and Marguerite (Faust) at the Opéra de Lille.

At the Paris Opera: Carmen (Frasquita), 2017; Die Zauberflöte (Pamina), 2019; Le Soulier de satin (Dona Musique / la Bouchère), 2021; Così fan tutte (Fiordiligi), 2024.
