Ticket exchange
This article applies to the resale and purchase, on a per ticket basis, of performance tickets for the 2021/2022 season purchased from the Paris Opera and through the Ticket Exchange service. The Paris Opera reserves the right to make any changes to this article, particularly in the event of regulatory changes.
Gift vouchers, programme vouchers, performance gift packs, Pass' Jeunes, Pass' Académie, Pass' Duo, Pass' Famille and all tickets requiring proof of age (under-28s' rate, reduced mobility rate, under-40s' rate, etc.) may not be sold on the official ticket exchange.
Co-subscribers, group members (works councils, associations, groups of friends, school groups, etc.) and customers of the Paris Opera's commercial partners (ticketing agencies, distributors, tour operators, etc.) must contact the main holder of the initial order if they wish to resell their ticket on the Official Ticket Exchange; only the latter will be credited with the resale price.
The use of data collected during any purchase is carried out in accordance with the rules of personal data protection as described in the Confidentiality Charter accessible in the Legal Notice section of the operadeparis.fr website.
The Paris Opera cannot be held responsible for
The Paris Opera does not guarantee permanent access to its ticket exchange service, particularly during maintenance operations.
It is the responsibility of Users to handle the information on the Site with care and to carry out any necessary checks under their sole responsibility.
All Users must act in a non-professional capacity. In this respect, it is hereby stated that Sellers who act in a professional capacity while presenting themselves as consumers or non-professionals are liable to criminal sanctions.
Sellers may use the technical solution set up by the Ticket Exchange service to offer tickets for resale, on an occasional basis and without making this their main activity.
All Sellers declare, certify and guarantee that they comply with all legal obligations, including contractual obligations, which are applicable to them, and in particular that their use of the service does not infringe any legal or regulatory provision or any contractual stipulation. Sellers remain solely responsible for any breach of any of their legal or contractual obligations.
The Seller undertakes, in the event of an e-ticket that has been previously printed or downloaded before being put up for sale, not to use it for personal purposes, give it away or resell it through another channel.
The resale price of tickets is freely defined by the seller and may not exceed the face value of the ticket.
The ticket selling fee is 2.5% of the resale value of the ticket.
The sales charge may be changed at any time. However, it will be charged on the basis of the rates in force at the time the order is placed.
Resale is possible as soon as the ticket for sale appears in the spectator's personal space and up to 2 hours before the start of the performance concerned by the sale.
The sale automatically ends 1 hour before the start of the performance concerned by the sale.
The User may purchase several tickets, offered by several different sellers, at different prices (including in the same category) in the same caddie.
To proceed with the payment of his basket, the User must :
Tickets are only delivered in dematerialized format.
In accordance with Articles L 121-17 and L 121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the online purchase of performance tickets.
The purchase fee for tickets corresponds to 7.5% of the face value of the ticket (initial price) and is added to the resale price set by the seller (which may not exceed the original face value).
The purchase fee may be changed at any time. However, it will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force at the time the order is placed. The purchase fee will not be refunded in the event of a ticket refund.
Payment includes the resale price of the Ticket as determined by the Seller at the time the order is placed online, plus the purchase costs.
Payment is made by credit card (Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard, American Express) or with any type of voucher or by means of the credit account, exclusively.
If the payment is made correctly, subject to validation their bank, buyers receive a confirmation email and the ticket(s) appear in their personal space on operadeparis.fr
