These Terms and Conditions apply to Tour Tickets purchased directly from the Paris Opera. Tickets cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded (in particular in the event of loss or theft, inaccessibility or restricted access to any of the visiting areas).

The Paris Opera reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, these changes will not affect the price of orders that have already been paid for.

Reduced rates are subject to the presentation of valid proof of eligibility.

No changes (to the date, time slot, number of participants and/or price) and no refunds can be made once the order has been paid for, the order form has been sent or the booking has been confirmed on the ADAGE platform.

The visit may be cancelled, even at the last minute, if the Theatre's activities so require. In the event of cancellation on our part, a refund for the tickets will be offered.

Individual Tour Tickets can be purchased:

• Online at operadeparis.fr;
• By telephone on +33 (0)8 92 89 90 90 (€0.35 incl. VAT/min from a landline, excluding any costs charged by your operator);
• On the Paris Opera app;
• At the Palais Garnier ticket machines;
• At the Paris Opera ticket offices.

Tickets can be paid for by:

• Valid credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express);
• Cheque in euros payable at a French bank, made out to the Opéra national de Paris, at the ticket offices only;
• Cash in euros, at the ticket offices only.
• Paris Opera gift vouchers, credit notes and credit balances.

In accordance with Articles L 121-17 and L 121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the remote purchase of Tour Tickets.

These Terms and Conditions apply to:

• Company social and economic committees;
• Non-profit associations;
• Tour operators;
• Coach operators;
• Travel agencies;
• Schools and extracurricular establishments;
• Groups of friends;

Bookings of a tour slot with an approved tour guide dedicated to the group are only possible for a minimum billing corresponding to 15 people. School or extracurricular groups may not exceed 35 people. Other groups may not exceed 30 people.

Bookings are mandatory and subject to availability. They must be made at least 30 days before the date of the tour by email to visitebastille@operadeparis.fr . Incomplete booking requests will not be processed by the Paris Opera, which will inform the purchaser.

Orders can be paid for by:

• Valid credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express)
• Cheque in euros payable at a French bank, made out to the Opéra national de Paris. The amount must be indicated. The Paris Opera cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from the customer's failure to include this information on the cheque.
• Bank transfer (request bank details from the Palais Garnier Visitor Services Department – Services des visites). The file number provided by the Visitor Services Department must be specified on the transfer order.
• Purchase order or administrative mandate for public institutions only. The sending a signed purchase order constitutes a commitment.
• Culture Pass (for educational establishments).
• Paris Opera gift vouchers, credit notes and credit balances.

Upon receipt of payment, the Paris Opera will process the request within 21 days and notify the purchaser by email. No changes can be made after payment has been received.

If payment has not been received by the Paris Opera 21 days before the date of the visit, the order will be automatically cancelled.

No payment should be made before the Paris Opera has sent a quote.

The purchaser is requested to inform their customers of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. In the event of failure to do so, the Paris Opera reserves the right to refuse any new orders.

Upon receiving the tickets, the customers are asked to check that they are consistent with their order.

Depending on the format chosen when ordering, tickets are:

• Printable by the customer via their personal account or accessible on a mobile phone;
• Issued at the Paris Opera ticket offices;
• Sent by land mail, at the customer's discretion, when ordered by telephone or online in cardboard format. Tickets sent by standard land mail are subject to a flat-rate administration fee of €4 per order in respect of management fees. Tickets sent by registered mail (mainland France only) are subject to a fee of €8 per order (including administration costs).

The customers are asked to check that the quote and sale summary are consistent with their order.

Tickets are sent by email to the person who placed the order or can be downloaded from the agent customer account.

Any change of contact details must be reported by email to visitebastille@operadeparis.fr. The Paris Opera cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of tickets.

If tickets have not been received three working days before the date of the tour, the customer must contact the Audience and Visitor Services Department (Service spectateurs et visiteurs) via to visitebastille@operadeparis.fr.

Entry to the Bastille Opera is only possible upon presentation of a valid Tour Ticket.

Each ticket entitles the holder to a single entry, and re-entry is not possible once the building is left.

The cloakrooms are closed during tour hours. Certain items are not permitted in our theatres.

The meeting point with the tour guide is located at the stage door of the Bastille Opera, 120 rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris. Visitors are required to arrive 10 minutes before scheduled start of the tour. Access to the tour is not permitted for latecomers. Their tickets will not be refunded or exchanged.

The tour is not accessible to people with reduced mobility and children under the age of 8. Closed-toe and comfortable shoes must be worn to access the tour.

The guided tour of the Bastille Opera focus on two highlights:

• A tour of the public areas and the auditorium;
• A backstage tour (stage areas and scenery set-up area at level -6)

The workshops are not included in the tour.

Inaccessibility or restricted access to any of the public areas will not give rise to a refund or exchange.

Organised groups must book in advance with the Paris National Opera's Audience and Visitor Services Department (see section PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS / GROUP TICKETS).

The Paris Opera reserves the right to terminate the tour without notice or refund if any group member fails to comply with safety rules or shows disrespect to any Opera staff member.

In the event of force majeure, which expressly includes requisition or closure of the Bastille Opera imposed by any public authority for reasons of public order, the tickets will not be refunded.

Refunds for tickets purchased from a third party will be handled by that third party.

Any grievance must be made clear within 8 calendar days of the event that is the subject of the complaint and sent to the Paris Opera by email to (visitebastille@operadeparis.fr), by telephone (+33 1 73 60 25 25) or by post (Service spectateurs et visiteurs - Opéra national de Paris - 8 rue Scribe -75 009 Paris). For all deadlines, the postmark will be regarded as proof.

In accordance with article R 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, Paris Opera clients have free recourse to a consumer mediation service if no solution is found, either on-line through the mediationconso-ame.com website, or by post to the address of the Médiation de la consommation AME: 197 boulevard Saint-Germain - 75007 Paris.

Visitors benefiting from special conditions of access, in application of agreements between the Paris Opera and a partner may under no circumstances invoke against the Paris Opera the failure of the said partner to fulfil its obligations.
