Entry to the Bastille Opera is only possible upon presentation of a valid Tour Ticket.
Each ticket entitles the holder to a single entry, and re-entry is not possible once the building is left.
The cloakrooms are closed during tour hours. Certain items are not permitted in our theatres.
The meeting point with the tour guide is located at the stage door of the Bastille Opera, 120 rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris. Visitors are required to arrive 10 minutes before scheduled start of the tour. Access to the tour is not permitted for latecomers. Their tickets will not be refunded or exchanged.
The tour is not accessible to people with reduced mobility and children under the age of 8. Closed-toe and comfortable shoes must be worn to access the tour.
The guided tour of the Bastille Opera focus on two highlights:
- A tour of the public areas and
the auditorium;
- A backstage tour (stage areas and
scenery set-up area at level -6)
The workshops are not included in the tour.
Inaccessibility or restricted access to any of the public areas will not give rise to a refund or exchange.
Organised groups must book in advance with the Paris National Opera's Audience and Visitor Services Department (see section PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS / GROUP TICKETS).
The Paris Opera reserves the right to terminate the tour without notice or refund if any group member fails to comply with safety rules or shows disrespect to any Opera staff member.
