Synopsis
The young French baritone Florian Sempey has placed two composers at the heart of his programme: Mahler and Poulenc, with Songs of a Wayfarer and Le bal masqué. On the one hand, four instants in the painful wandering of a man who, seeking death after a romantic breakup, accepts, resigned, to rest in the shade of a lime tree. On the other hand, a secular cantata to eccentric poems by Max Jacob, both amusing and touching.
