Always eager to discover new fields combining artistic creation and technological innovation, the Paris Opera is launching its first NFT* collection dedicated to the world of ballet from 14 March 2023.

Intended for opera and ballet lovers, as well as crypto fans, collectors, and all who feel curious and passionate about new forms of artistic expression, this Paris Opera first collection of digital art offers the widest possible audience an opportunity to become an actor in creation and to discover a new way of collecting art.

Entitled Émergence, ballet algorithmique, the Paris Opera's NFT collection in limited numbers was designed by the French art collective Obvious. This artistic trio uses artificial intelligence in their creations and revisits the great classical ballets, transformed via algorithms.

From 17 February 2023, you can register on the platform https://nft.operadeparis.fr, specially created for the project, and then access the presale of the first Paris Opera NFT, on 14 March 2023.

The online sale to the general public will open on 15 March 2023. The profits from this sale will help finance artistic creation at the Paris Opera.

The NFT will be sold on the dedicated website https://nft.operadeparis.fr developed by Polyconseil, an agency specialized in the digital transformation of companies. Through a simple navigation, collectors can use either a credit card or cryptocurrencies to pay, as is customary in the NFT world. The official Twitter account of the Paris Opera and the Discord account, created for the occasion, will allow anyone to keep up to date with the evolution of this first NFT collection, to interact with the community, and to participate in competitions and live video shows.

*NFT (Non Fungible Token) are assets that have been stocked via a blockchain and linked to digital content such as photos, audio files or videos. It allows the asset to be certified as unique and therefore exclusive.
