Instructions concerning the COVID-19 epidemic

17 February 2020The Bettencourt Schueller Foundation reiterates its commitment to sponsoring the Paris Opera Academy. 26 March 2020André Larquié

The Paris Opera wishes to inform audiences and visitors to the Opéra Bastille and the Palais Garnier that a number of public health measures aimed at limiting the propagation of the epidemic have been set in place in its theatres and would request that all respect the official guidelines posted in all public areas.

As a precautionary measure, the Paris Opera also asks any theatregoer or visitor with flu-like symptoms (coughs, respiratory problems, fever, aches) to postpone their visit to the Paris Opera or at the very least wear a surgical mask, especially if they are coming from one of the high-risk zones.

Depending on their situation, and on condition of contacting us no less than 48 hours prior the performance or the visit, ticketholders will be offered the opportunity to exchange their existing tickets or have the price of them refunded.

For more information, please speak to an agent at the theatre reception desk or box office in either theatre or call one of our representatives on 01 73 60 23 23, Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm.

All new developments will be posted on the website at operadeparis.fr
