Message from the Paris Opera to audiences

Following the measures announced by the Government at the end of the Constitutional Council held on 21st January 2022, the Paris Opera wishes to make the following observations:

  • The presentation of a Vaccine Pass for adults and teenagers over the age of 16 will be a requirement for accessing theaters starting from 24th January 2022.
  • The indoor audience limit of 2,000 in theatres won’t apply to performances at the Palais Garnier and the Opéra Bastille as of 2nd February 2022.
  • The conditions of access to bars and refreshment areas as of this date will be specified at a later date.

The Opera therefore invites you to consult the website www.operadeparis.fr regularly where performance conditions are constantly updated.
The Opera also informs its audience by sms and email in the event of changes and thanks them for their comprehension and commitment. Rest assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure that the productions for which our artists have been rehearsing for weeks and even months can be presented to you. Your presence, your support and your applause are more than ever essential in this period during which we are all eager to enjoy music and dance.
