Originally from San Diego, California, Trevor Haumschilt-Rocha recently graduated from the Juilliard School after studying at San Diego State University. He made his professional debut as Malatesta (Don Pasquale) at the Saratoga Opera. He is a prizewinner of the Neue Stimmen competition, the Richard Tucker Music Foundation, the Giulio Gari Foundation International Vocal Competition, and the Jensen Foundation Vocal Competition.
He has been a member of the Volksoper Vienna Opernstudio from 2024 to 2026. There he has appeared in roles including Dr. Falke (Die Fledermaus), Robert (Iolanta), and the Kaiser (KaiserRequiem). In 2025, he makes his debut at the Salzburg Festival as Servo (Macbeth) in a production by Krzysztof Warlikowski conducted by Philippe Jordan, and as Dumas (Andrea Chénier) in a concert version conducted by Marco Armiliato. He also performs the role of Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro) at the Aspen Festival under the direction of Matthew Aucoin.
During the 2025–2026 season, he makes his debut at the Zurich Opera House as Count Monterone (Rigoletto). He will join the Paris Opera Lyric Troupe for the 2026–2027 season.
