Member of the Paris Opera Chorus
Pranvera Lehnert Ciko studied violin and singing in her hometown, Tirana, Albania. At the age of 18, she settled in Paris and entered the class of Peggy Bouveret at the Paris Conservatoire, where she obtained the First Prize in 1999. She sang in Toulouse under Marc Bleuze in Menotti’s Le Téléphone (1997) and at the Paris Conservatoire in a concert version of Don Pasquale (1998).
Between 1998 and 1999, she toured with the Opéra Éclaté to perform Manon and Le Nozze di Figaro. She was also twice invited at the Saint-Céré Festival to sing, among others, a recital of Schubert’s lieder. On the concert platform, she has performed works like Pergolèse’s Stabat Mater with the Orchestre des Archets de Paris at the Sainte-Chapelle and Schubert’s Mass in G major in Béziers.
She has been a member of the Paris Opera since 1999. She regularly takes part in the chamber music given at the Studio and Amphitheatre of the Opera Bastille, in a wide-ranging repertoire (Brahms, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Rossini, Donizetti or Vienna operettas).
