Biography

Born in Italy, Pierpaolo Palloni began his musical training at the Gioacchino Rossini Conservatoire in Pesaro with tenor Robleto Merolla. He was a merit recipient of the Foundation Rossini Grant. During his studies and at 20, he joined the Chœur Lyrique des Marches and obtained several soloist roles at the Sferisterio in Macerata, the Théâtre des Muses in Ancona and the G. B. Pergolesi Theatre in Jesi.

He continued his vocal training in Milan with Bass singer Bonaldo Giaiotti and in Barcelona with soprano Dolores Aldea. He won the singing competitions for joining the choruses in La Fenice, in Venice, and in the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona where he was, during 8 years, a permanent Chorus artist and soloist.

In 2015, he joined the Paris Opera Choruses as a Resident artist. He has sung under many conductors including Bruno Campanella, Nello Santi et Daniel Oren and has worked with directors such as Pier Luigi Pizzi, Claus Guth and Lindsay Kemp. He performed solo parts alongside lead singers, including Plácido Domingo, Daniela Dessì and Leo Nucci.
