Biography

In 2015, at the Paris Opera, she wrote and directed the show Les Temps Aventureux for the “1, 2, 3 Opéra! Festival” as part of the Ten Months of School and Opera programme. She was the assistant to Christophe Perton for Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the Atelier lyrique in 2014 and to Andrei Serban for Verdi’s Otello in 2004. In New York she took on several projects alternating between directing, dance, and dramaturgy. She also assisted Robert Wilson for Les Fables de La Fontaine at the Comédie-Française in 2003. An official translator of English language dramatic works for the Maison Antoine Vitez, she translated the libretto for the children’s opera Vol Retour by Joanna Lee and Rory Mullarkey which will have its French premiere in December 2015 under the aegis of the Paris Opera Academy. She earned her doctorate in theatrical studies at Columbia University (2011) and since 2012, has been leading theatre workshops on Shakespeare at Sciences Po. As of September 2015, she will be in residence at the Paris Opera’s Academy.
