Marthe Choquet began playing the violin at the age of 7 at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régionale (CRR) in Metz. There, she followed a multi-disciplinary path combining violin, opera singing, classical and contemporary dance, choral conducting and theoretical disciplines.
Trained as a violinist by Hélène Houillon and Carole Bruère-Garbarg, she obtained her diploma in 2019 with unanimous honors, before entering the CRR de Toulouse in the advanced cycle. In 2021, she was admitted to the Haute école de musique de Genève in Alexander Rozhdestvensky's class, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in 2025. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree at the Cologne School of Music and Dance in Michael Foyle's class.
She performs at numerous festivals, including Rencontres Musicales de Haute Provence, Festival de Bellerive, Puplinge Classique and Estivales de Brou. She benefits from the advice of Marianne Piketty, Jean-Marc Phillips, Stéphanie-Marie Degand, Catherine Montier, Alexis Galpérine, Christophe Poiget, Annick Roussin, Nathalie Descamps and Chloé Kiffer through numerous master classes and training courses. In 2023, she received an encouragement prize from the Fondation Marescotti.
Marthe Choquet joins the Académie de l'Opéra national de Paris in September 2025 as violinist-in-residence.
