Trained in the music of Stockhausen, Berio and Boulez, but embarked on a path of research towards his own original aesthetics, including influences of artists such as J. Hendrix, F. Zappa, M. Davis, and African poliphonies.
In every vocal and instrumental field, he is able to combine powerful musicality, innovation and research, with his work being rooted in his deep sense of culture and society.
For musical theatre he has given proof of original conceptions, in the instrumental field he has experimented with all combinations of chamber, electronics, multimedia and symphonic music.
His strong urge to explore new territories shows a unique necessity to place music beyond itself, projecting its existence in the vast horizon of the relation of human being with the whole complexity of the world.
In 2017, he wrote the libretto and composed Trompe-la-mort, an opera premiered at the Palais Garnier, directed by Guy Cassiers and based on Splendeurs et misères des courtisanes by Honoré de Balzac.
