Member of the Paris National Opera Lyric Ensemble
Originally from New York, Ilanah Lobel-Torres earned her bachelor’s degree from the New England Conservatory and a master’s in vocal performance from the Mannes School of Music. She joined the Paris National Opera Academy in 2019 and performed in this context on the stages of the Opéra Bastille, Palais Garnier, and on tour in Beirut, La Grange au Lac, and the Opéra de Dijon.
During the 2022–2023 season, she performed the role of Ozia (La Giuditta) at the Festival de la Chaise-Dieu and the Festival Sinfonia en Périgord, made her debut at the Santa Fe Opera as the First Nymph (Rusalka) and as cover for Proserpina (L’Orfeo). She has been a member of the Paris National Opera Lyric Ensemble since the 2023–2024 season.
