Member of the Paris National Opera Lyric Troupe
Originally from New York, Ilanah Lobel-Torres obtained her bachelor's degree from the New England Conservatory and her master's degree in vocal performance from the Mannes School of Music. She joined the Paris National Opera Academy in 2019 and has performed at the Opéra Bastille, the Palais Garnier and on tour in Beirut, La Grange au Lac and the Dijon Opera House. During the 2022-2023 season, she will play Ozia (La Giuditta) at the Festival de la Chaise-Dieu and the Festival Sinfonia en Périgord, make her debut at the Santa Fe Opera in the role of the First Nymph (Rusalka) and as the understudy for Proserpina (L'Orfeo). She has been a member of the Paris National Opera's lyric troupe since the 2023-2024 season.
