Ida Aldrian graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
She is currently a member of the ensemble at the Hamburg State Opera and was a member of the Nuremberg State Opera ensemble from 2015 to 2018. Her repertoire includes the title role in Ariodante, Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel) and Fyodor (Boris Godunov). As a Rhinemaiden (Wellgunde) and Valkyrie (Siegrune), she is part of the ensemble of singers for the “The Wagner Cycles” project conducted by Kent Nagano. Very active in concert, she has worked with numerous European ensembles and orchestras, including Concentus Musicus Wien, L’Orfeo Barockorchester, Barokksolistene, Bach Consort Wien and the ensemble Pygmalion.
She has performed at Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, the Cologne Philharmonie, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Musikverein in Vienna. During the 2026–2027 season, she will perform Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) and Lola (Cavalleria rusticana) in Hamburg, and Wellgunde (Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung) in Vienna.
