Ida Aldrian is a graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She is currently a member of the Hamburg State Opera Ensemble and was a member of the Nuremberg State Opera Ensemble from 2015 to 2018. Her repertoire includes roles such as the title role in Ariodante, Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Hänsel (Hänsel and Gretel) and Fiodor (Boris Godunov).
As the Rhine Daughter (Wellgunde) and Valkyrie (Siegrunde), she is part of the ensemble of singers in the project ‘The Wagner Cycles’ under the direction of Kent Nagano. Very active in concert, Ida Aldrian has worked with numerous European ensembles and orchestras such as Concentus Musicus Wien, L'Orfeo Barockorchester, the Barokksolistene ensemble, the Bach Consort Wien and the Pygmalion ensemble. She has performed at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Philharmonie in Cologne, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Musikverein in Vienna.
During the 2025-2026 season, she will play Flora Bervoix (La Traviata) in Hamburg, the Second Maid (Elektra) and Suzuki (Madame Butterfly) in Hamburg, and Wellgunde (Götterdämmerung) in Cologne.
