Biography
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Fabián Schofrin studied cello and voice before moving to Europe in 1993, where he has since devoted himself to the performance of 17th- and 18th-century music. As a singer, he has collaborated with leading ensembles specializing in this repertoire, including Les Arts Florissants, conducted by William Christie, among others.
Since 2005, he has been a founding member of the ensemble Cappella Mediterranea, directed by Leonardo García-Alarcón, with whom he has taken part in numerous productions and recordings, both as a singer and as the artistic director of recordings.
