Biography

After studying with Jane Berbié at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, and then at the École d'Art Lyrique de l'Opéra National de Paris, Doris Lamprecht soon performed in a vast repertoire: Rigoletto in Strasbourg, La Traviata in Orange, La Belle Hélène in Zurich, La Périchole in Marseille, La Vie Parisienne in Tours, The Magic Flute in Aix-en-Provence, Lyon and Orange, Lulu in Metz....

Numerous roles mark her career: Dame Marthe (Faust) in Amsterdam, Gertrude (Hamlet), Marcellina (Les Noces de Figaro), Larina (Eugène Onéguine) in Strasbourg, Geneva, Nice and Munich, Madame de Croissy (Dialogues des carmélites) in Nantes and Angers, Madame de La Haltière (Cendrillon) at Barcelona's Gran Teatre del Liceu, in Nancy and at Berlin's Komische Oper, Madame Pichard and Sœur Opportune (Les Mousquetaires au couvent) at the Opéra Comique, Hedwige (Guillaume Tell) in Geneva, l'Opinion publique (Orphée aux Enfers) in Nancy and Montpellier, Jacqueline (Le Médecin malgré lui) in Geneva, Mrs Tschang (Der Kreidekreis by Klabund) at Opéra national de Lyon, Countess Stasa Kokozow (Der Graf von Luxemburg by Lehár) in Düsseldorf, Larina at Opéra de Strasbourg and in Marseille, Mary (La Vaisseau fantôme) in Nantes, Angers and Rennes, the Comtesse de Coigny (Andrea Chénier) in Toulon , Kabanicha (Kátia Kabanová) at the Komische Oper Berlin and the Marquise de Berkenfield (La Fille du régiment) at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Zia (le Triptyque) in Karlsruhe. Next season, she will be Mamma Lucia (Cavalleria rusticana) at Saint-Étienne.
