Born into a family of musicians, Daphné de Driesen began playing the harp at the age of six. In 2002, she joined Fabrice Pierre’s class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon and earned her diplomas in harp and chamber music at the age of nineteen.
Daphné de Driesen regularly performs with orchestras such as the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Lyon, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, and the Orchestre National de Bordeaux. She has also taken part in several concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic and was a member of the Orchestres de la Garde Républicaine from 2009 to 2014.
Deeply committed to chamber music, she has given numerous concerts with the Carpe Diem ensemble and the Bordeaux-based association Les Caprices de Marianne. Daphné de Driesen holds a State Diploma in harp teaching.
She has been principal harpist of the Paris Opera Orchestra since September 4, 2019.
