Brandon Stirling Baker is a lighting designer who works internationally in ballet, opera and theatre. His work has been seen on Broadway, at Lincoln Centre, the Kennedy Centre, the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and in the repertoires of the New York City Ballet, the Paris Opera Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Australian Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Miami City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Houston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, and many others.
He has collaborated with director and choreographer Justin Peck on more than thirty productions worldwide since 2010. Their recent collaborations include works by William Forsythe, Sufjan Stevens, Jamar Roberts, Sharon Eyal, Pam Tanowitz, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Shepard Fairey, Daniel Buren, and Eva LeWitt. Brandon Stirling Baker received a Tony Award nomination for his lighting design for Illinoise on Broadway and received the Knight of Illumination Award for his work in dance.
