The 2024 Summer School will take place from July 1st to 13th included.
Please note that this programme is subject to amendment.
We would like to inform you that levels are subjects to change according to the number of candidates who will be admitted for the Summer School.
At the end of the Summer School, parents and guardians are invited to the Démonstrations (final performance) to have an insight of the progressions made by the students.
*The Superieur pro level is directed to students graduating from ballet schools or trainees in companies.

Students are divided into nine to ten different levels according to age and abilities. Girls and boys of the same level take the same classes, except for sex-specific disciplines (pointe shoes technique and boys’ technique).
Some levels are organised in one week, and others in two. Ages below are given on an indicative basis and the jury is entitled to adjust the average age of a level according to the candidates’ potential.

Please note that the Paris Opera School’s restaurant is not habilitated to guarantee gluten-free or vegan meals. Moreover we cannot stock any food in the restaurant’s fridges which does not come from our provider.
Students who suffer serious allergies and/or are on gluten-free diet cannot stay in the Boarding House of the Ballet School and will automatically be half-boarders. They will be able to bring their own meal for lunch in a cool bag and a microwave will be at their disposal.
Students who are on a vegetarian, vegan diet or any particular diet and who do not wish to take their meals at the restaurant are subject to the same conditions.
If your child is concerned, please let us know by sending us an email during the registration process at: stage-ecolededanse@operadeparis.fr
Heavy medical treatments (such as daily injections) will not be covered. Students with such treatments will therefore have to be half-boarders.
